Pakapipiya Ka Appreciation Night was to honor and show our gratitude to our Partners namely: Choly Cabanban, Friends of Hope, Inc., Mindanao State University- Marawi, National University, Philippine Air Force, Philippine Business for Social Progress, Philippine National Police National Capital Region, Philippine Stationers Association, Pilipinas Shell Foundation, and Sa Pagbasa, May Pag-asa. Our 16 De La Salle Philippines schools were honored for its generous support to the Marawi 2.0 Pakapipiya Ka project.
Br. Armin A. Luistro FSC welcomed our guests and gave his inspiring remarks for the Marawi 2.0 Pakapipiya Ka project. Pakapipiya Ka project was our response to Department of Education ARMM’s strategy 5: Provision of learning supplies and materials to ensure “learners have the necessary learning materials to assist them in the learning process and stay in school.”
On behalf of our Pakapipiya Ka partners, Maj. General Jose P. Tanjuan AFP, Vice Commander, Philippine Air Force, gave the response from our partners. Maj. Gen. Tanjuan thanked De La Salle Philippines for being one in the Marawi call. He stressed that PAF is very much willing to assist our Lasallian projects.
Marawi 2.0 Pakapipiya Ka project was able to distribute school bags with poncho, standard learners’ school supplies, Coco Daily drinks, and about 1,200 family kits to the following elementary schools: Angoyao, Bangoon, Datu Saber, Poona Marantao, Toka Buganga, Tomarurum, BIBCES, Harat Medina, Hassan Memorial, Bagong Pag- asa, Sarimanok 2, APCES, Fatima, Domanday and Nanapun.
